The 2nd day of Kwanzaa Kujichagulia Speak up for yaself say who ya wanna be ya creator created you in the image to keep on creatin' wit creative vision beginnin' wit you, not what they define it's a whole different view wit a new frame of mine I could draw what they drew wit da same design when I make up my mind to, I make it mine This My Vocalization Til I'm definite, let 'em get patient They could jet if they get tired of waitin' Forget what they sayin' cause I got my own inspiration, 'n yeah I got my own inspiration 'n you got ya own inspiration, man Forget what they sayin' the secret to wealth is SELF Determination!

The 3rd day's Ujima, see we could, mix-Umoja wit Kujichagulia, 'n be more, than dreamers yah i'm a build wit you, you'll build wit me somethin worthy, of sustainibility that turn me, just from dreamin' individually to ownin' somethin' you 'n me could really see thanks to the roots of all of our divinity we grow da family tree from just a little seed to all the branches wit da fruit within the leaves wit collective work n responsibility from my ancestors down to mini me's from my ancestors down to mini me's we grow da family tree from just a little seed wit collective work n responsibility

Every day of Kwanzaa we puttin the mishumaa right into da kinara, dat rep nguzo sabaa. On top of da mkeka Habari Gani, say what? Habari Gani, say what's the priniciple today bruh? Day number 4 is Ujamaa. Remember how we put Umoja 'n Kujichagulia together to get Ujima? Now let's take it farther. Whenever our people build somethin' that profits somebody else get it, so we got to follow our collective work & responsibility wit ability to collect the profit. Athough alone you can't get it, together we got it! Don't need a loan wit da interest, we just need to chip in together to cop it. See what a co-op is? You not on ya own now nobody could stop us, when we cooperate, it's hard to coopt us You buy my music, I hit you wit crypto currency, so in the future we could keep it movin' like we doin' currently cooperative economics.

The fifth day is Nia, No conflicts tryna see ya wit' Ujamaa from Ujima, cause our pathway is clear, Benefittin' YOU is benefitin ME plus, benefitin' our community to return all of our peeps to bein' the leaders who we use to be, from thinking that we, came from slavery to knowin' that we, made from bravery We gettin' our children to listen, rebuildin' tradition Don't let 'em sit in front da television, Where they missin' livin' but they think they winnin' lift 'em on the shoulders of our elder's wisdom When they gettin' nervous, let em get the vision Don't forget da purpose, make a BETTER difference!

On the 6th day, it's Kuumba, clear the haters from the room cause we creatin', ain't no room to wait for later, make it sooner maybe they won't do it, but you could make a better way for the future separate the winners from losers got all this inspiration, I'm a use it! Cause every stress in life is a test 'n gets us askin' questions, that's a blessin' get up in the zone, 'n show my expression, way before they start to pay attention They'll get it later, tune in the reception ain't no need to wait, just move in the direction of the future, that's disguised in the present wit' creativity we'll 'em make really see

It's the 7th day, it's the Last day it's Imani baby, that's Faith On the first day, I ain't know how I would make it here, but I had faith That's belief in my people, my parents, my teachers they win when we win, so they neva gon' leave us, forever gon' lead us, give us a purpose in creative ways, that's kuumba 'n nia Somehow we'll find a way to cooperate in a more responsive way, Ujamaa, Ujima, but don't need my people to believe in me I know who I'm a be from Kujichagulia When we apart I keep 'em in mind, 'n keep movin' forward, when we behind, 'n when I get over, I bring 'em wit me, Umoja the seed of the whole community

about

Honoring the Nguzo Saba (7 Principles of Kwanzaa), this collection includes a song dedicated to each Principle, as well as a 7 minute song that includes all 7 Principles together. Habari Gani means "What's the news?" and everyday we reply to that question with a different principle. Umoja, Kujichagulia, Ujima, Ujamaa, Nia, Kuumba, Imani in that order means Unity, Self Determination, Collective Work & Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, and Faith.
