The 7th Chapter sees our protagonist, Kha-elL becoming accountable for the results of his behavior. Despite everything he does to prove himself an asset, nobody seems to notice. He finds it much harder to discern what he can do for others than it was to list what they didn’t do for him on the journey to "SELF CONTROL".
This is Self Suffice's 1st solo album since recording the critically acclaimed "Manhattan Night" CD with Dreamville's Mez. Also available at
I been here for a while / y’all don't see me?
Not an elder or a child / somewhere in between be
thinkin' any day now / the crowd'll believe me,

of the ways you could holla on my bizness card,

I use to be self centered - that's the worse,
now I care 'bout ya needs so I'm askin FIRST (12)

led a horse to water BEFORE ih HAD da THIRST
If you had LEAD all in ya water, on a regular basis,
*before I offer my water, my first order ought to be
to change ya... (16)
expectations* , cause if you don't know my slang
den what I'm sayin you ain't get, 'n if you ain't
hol' my resume yet, then dependin' on me, you ain't wit (18)
*I get it, how could you want me givin gift?
when you didn't know that I was gifted*(20)
The details of what people need, they hesitant wit
until we set a precedent provin we could present it,
Witout dat past evidence they look past my presents
Mistakin' my gift wrappin fa my actual essence
