The 5th Chapter sees our protagonist, Kha-elL overcoming the temptation to lash out in anger, deciding not to do more harm during the transition to "SELF CONTROL". As someone who’s accustomed to using anger to build momentum towards their goals, he now finds himself at a loss for motivation, without enemies to provoke his passion.
This is Self Suffice's 1st solo album since recording the critically acclaimed "Manhattan Night" CD with Dreamville's Mez. Also available at

da right way on a one way/ based on 'ey numbres/
what dey gon' say is predictable/
not wit' prejudice, but wit statistics, you
could see the trend of it wit intelligence/
then you pick/ whether you should be neglectin' it/
suppressin' it/ or helpin it/

When ya ‘fraid to make mistakes all the time/
Stuck unable ta make up ya mind/
Stuck unable ta make up ya mind

As I examine what I'm really about/
I'm clarifyin' my intentions 'n figurin' out/
I'm off to a good start, but I'm really in doubt/
if other people can expect for me
to lead 'em in the right direction
How many times have I left a good impression/
on everyone who been checkin/ fa me on the internet man/
it's about time I network 'n connect,
let da best in the profession know I'm here ta represent fa dem
and as fa dos' who oppose my success, in
steada doin more fa othas, wanna bruva doin' less,
when 'ey see anotha shinin', why dey take it as a threat?
anyway I wont be waitin' til ya frame a mind correct
you could give me ya opinion, but I'm takin my respect
community dependin on me, I ain't waitin' I'm in debt to
those who paved a way 'n lef a sign behind dat I could get
